Company Profile and Activities
Bisanz Anlagenbau GmbH was established and registered as independent Engineering Company for the Energy Sector in 1987 in Saarbrücken, FRG.
Scope of services and supplies of the Company is design, engineering and construction of thermal plants generating low- to medium-BTU gas by pyrolysis and/or gasification as well as process heat, steam and electric power from various types of fuel such as Coal, Oil, Gas, RDF, Biomass and other Renewables. Other services of the Company refer to process development and optimization and the technical support for local permitting.
The Company controls a number of patents and has extended Know-How in the area of
- Industrial steam generators with natural and forced circulation,
- Design and construction of combustion systems particularly of fluidized bed combustion technology for various types of fuel,
- Drying by steam operated fluidized beds,
- Combined cycle processes for energy conversion (Cogeneration)
- Utilization of RDF, Biomass and Renewables for heat and power generation,
- Fuel storage and handling/processing and
- Cost analysis and project economics.
In spite of the proprietary rights the company has on fluidized bed technology for various processes for such as drying, pyrolysis, gasification and combustion also other systems such as grate, fixed bed or kiln are applied as well depending on fuel properties, operating conditions and customer's preference.
The company is not linked to any manufacturer and is therefore free to order and purchase all necessary equipment at optimum terms and conditions from suppliers world wide without restrictions solely based on quality and price.

Supplies are restricted to industrial size plant capacities of up to 100 MWth.
